Areas of Focus

Argelio Gazca is an analyst with IPD Latin America based in Mexico City. Since joining IPD as an intern in June 2008 he has contributed extensively to the company's syndicated research services with a particular focus on the construction and design of IPD's Stakeholder Maps and other studies. Argelio's areas of specialization include upstream oil and natural gas regulation and crude oil production forecasting.

Education

Since August 2005, Argelio has been studying economics and applied mathematics at ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in both academic areas. Prior to joining IPD, Argelio worked as a research assistant at ITAM where he participated in the development of Mexico's first major labor lawsuit database.
